I called Canon's tech-support line and they got me to download and I've tried just about everything I can think of but nothing works. Has anyone else had this problem with their EOS 350D? Can anyone offer any help or advice? This has been going on for weeks and no one ever calls. which is that someone will call back within 2 days. I have repeatedly called up Canon's tech-support line and get the same answer every time. This effectively renders my camera useless as I need access to those RAW images. For example, when I look directly at the card reader drive I can plainly see the '.CR2' files but I can't convert them into anything usable because when I look at the drive using the Canon software I only see the jpegs. which works ok for jpegs but according to Canon RAW images can only be obtained using the camera in conjunction with the software. I still can't download images because whenever I try I get a message saying images can't be downloaded because my camera is 'busy'. All that did was enable my machine to recognise that my camera exists. I called Canon's tech-support line and they got me to download and install a new driver.
